Ryne's Grads

Congrats on finishing high school! First off, let me say that Ryne's name is just too cool for words. It's pronounced "Rine," and for all you that knew me before I was married, you'll understand why I think that's awesome! If we have a boy you may see this name again...

Secondly let me say that Ryne has one of the best smiles I've ever seen! I asked him to take me to prom, but it's illegal - you can't bring a date younger than 8th grade or older than 22 or so. Now you all know I'm older than 22 :) Ah well! No YMCA for me this year.

Thanks for a great Saturday morning with your family!

On a side note, I'm playing with sticking my logo on the pictures. I'm not sure if I like this or not... feel free to weigh in on the issue! I just love the butterfly too much not to put it EVERYWHERE! Thanks again, Natalie!

What a shoot this was! It started to rain on my way to meet them, and continued to drizzle/downpour while we were together. We'd sit in the car and chat during the downpour, and then run outside for a few shots when we were brave and the rain was letting up a bit! I had a great time getting to know you!

Texas Bluebonnets

As all you Texans know, there's nothing like spring time when the flowers are in bloom! We went out last week for a few bluebonnet shots. Here's Anna's good buddy Madeline.

The Fancy Dress

One of the things I was really sad about in December was the fact that I didn't have many pictures of Anna in her flower girl dress. I was shooting the wedding and needed to get shots of the BRIDE... but oh how I wanted to do a little mini shoot with Anna! So since December I've tried a couple of times to get more. These are from this afternoon. We're heading out to the bluebonnets tomorrow, where I hope to get some more!

I'm embarrassed to say that both of these were taken in the back yard after being gone for a month... time to mow the grass, huh?
