Scott & Rachel - The Big Day

What a fun day! The sun was shining with burn-your-eyeballs brightness, which is perfect for a wedding at the Carleen Bright Arboretum. The wedding consultant Lois kept things running smoothly and the DJ Johnnie kept things hopping at the reception. I'm so glad I was there!

Andrew the ring bearer was a little shy in the beginning, so Scott and Andy showed him the ring - what responsibility!

Rachel is gorgeous, so I've got to include more of her! Here's a few more of her portraits.

My friend Jorge joined me as second-shooter, and it was great fun to have a partner! This image of Scott with the flower girl is his. Awesome!
Big man Andrew warmed up as the night went on. We had a contest of who could get the best picture! I don't think the camera survived the night... sorry about that Andy!
And, of course, the rings! Both wedding bands and Baylor alums. I won't tell you how many of those Kisses I ate over the course of the evening :)

The story is that Rachel JUST bought this car and they were prohibited from using shoe polish on it... so the groomsmen got creative - those are GUMMY WORMS! I love it.Congrats guys!

The Fancy Dress

One of the things I was really sad about in December was the fact that I didn't have many pictures of Anna in her flower girl dress. I was shooting the wedding and needed to get shots of the BRIDE... but oh how I wanted to do a little mini shoot with Anna! So since December I've tried a couple of times to get more. These are from this afternoon. We're heading out to the bluebonnets tomorrow, where I hope to get some more!

I'm embarrassed to say that both of these were taken in the back yard after being gone for a month... time to mow the grass, huh?

Rachel's Bridals

This beautiful gal is getting married May 3rd! Is her fiance a lucky man, or what? I'm thankful I will be there to share in their big day!

Ricky & Elisabeth - an Ecuadorian Wedding

Here are a few of my favorites! The bride was GORGEOUS and the whole thing was awesome to watch. I'm thankful I was able to go, let alone help with the pictures!

The rings
The bridesmaids' shoes
The bride and her father at the front of the church, before she was given away.
They threw confetti and blew bubbles INSIDE!
Beautiful.
Here's my favorite shot of the day.

Kristen & Krister

I've been told the first is the hardest, and this was definitely a lot of work! But it was AWESOME. My cousin Krisy has found a wonderful husband in Krister, and it was a blessing to see them united in marriage. I'm still sorting through the wedding images, but here are some that I loved. My little Anna was adorable as their flower girl! I know I'm biased...
